Before joining Insight Partners as Managing Director, Praveen led and scaled high-growth companies including VCE (acquired by EMC) and Viptela (acquired by Cisco), where he served as CEO and helped define new market categories in cloud infrastructure and enterprise SaaS. Earlier in his career, he was an engineering leader at Cisco, contributing to the foundational platforms of the modern Internet. He brings a deep product and operational lens to investing, with a focus on automation, data platforms, DevOps, security, and infrastructure software.
