Unlocking the full potential of imaging systems with GLASS AI

Revolutionary Neural ISP Technology

Neural Imaging and Video

Elevating your camera hardware with tailor-made AI
GLASS AI is a profound evolution in computational photography. Tailored to each camera system, our neural networks learn to reverse lens aberrations, sensor effects and noise specific to each system, recovering detail and clarity that even the most advanced ISPs can’t. Our models are optimized to run efficiently on edge devices or in cloud and server environments.

We support every pixel architecture
Glass AI models can be trained for any sensor: any pixel size from large pixel to sub-micron, any CFA type, and any CFA pattern. Our physics-based approach reconstructs real detail regardless of the underlying pixel technology, achieving clarity that conventional demosaicing pipelines can't match. Integration requires only RAW or binned RAW data from the target sensor.
New sensors ≠ New ISP
Traditional ISPs require extensive hand-tuning for each new sensor configuration. Glass AI does not. The same training framework adapts to new CFA arrangements with no performance penalty, whether you're working with standard, quad, or hex Bayer sensors, or emerging architectures like RGBW and RGB-IR. Future sensor innovation becomes a drop-in integration, not a new pipeline project.

Product Modes

We train and deploy GLASS AI for real-time on-device processing or post-capture workflows, hosted by GLASS or running on your infrastructure.

Neural ISP

Bespoke software imaging pipeline that redefines image quality — up to 10× performance advantage through physics-based real-detail recovery. Optimized to run on current edge AI compute-enabled devices or in other GPU/NPU compute environments.

Neural Video ISP

Device specific, physics-based software video pipeline delivering clearer, more actionable footage with up to 10x more recovered detail. Optimized for real-time video capture on edge AI enabled compute devices or in other GPU/NPU compute environments.

Co-Designed AI + Optics

A new paradigm of camera performance, a fusion of novel optical design architectures and custom Neural ISP Technology.
Compact camera systems face fundamental physics constraints. High-resolution sensors suffer from noise and cross-pixel leakage. Even advanced optical systems introduce blur, chromatic aberration, and distortion. Traditional approaches force trade-offs between image quality, size, weight, and cost.

Next-Generation Lens Optimization

GLASS AI reverses these effects and even replaces physical optical elements, relieving constraints during lens design optimization and revealing entirely unique families of optical designs. All while running at breathtaking speed on edge devices.
Real-Time Edge Processing
GLASS AI reverses these effects and can replace physical optical elements entirely, relieving constraints during lens design and revealing new families of optical architectures. Models run at real-time speeds on edge devices.

Benefits

Co-designing optics and neural processing together unlocks performance improvements across multiple dimensions:
Sensor Flexibility
Faster Apertures
Smaller, Lighter Modules
Increased Yields

Sensor Flexibility

Train models for any sensor architecture, from standard Bayer to multispectral and infrared arrays.

Faster Apertures

Enable wider apertures without the optical complexity traditionally required to control aberrations.

Smaller, Lighter Modules

Reduce element counts and module size without sacrificing performance.

Increased Yields

Relax optical tolerances and improve manufacturing yields by correcting unit-to-unit variation in software.
We partner with OEMs to co-design GLASS AI + Optics systems to your specifications, from early lens design through production deployment.
